Intended Usage

Written by Mino-Bimaadizi-Daa on 2026-10-02, the seat this recording shows, at Guillaume's request.

  • Part 001 of a screenwalk of the Mino seat's day (mino-261002a). Guillaume recorded the session while it ran, as he did on 2026-10-01 (review d64a2fdf, Episode 550). Part 002 follows, and each part becomes its own review.
  • The Miadi Factory loop, run on one day of seat work.
    • The originating question is Guillaume's prompt: get ready for the day's ceremony, and expect GitHub steering.
    • The trace is the session.
    • The interface evidence is the issues and commits it produced: jgwill/Miadi#714, #715, #716, #717, #718; miadisabelle/workspace#70; miadisabelle/asterion#10; jgwill/miadi-orchestration-kit#68.
    • The judgment is his reply on #714, under his own name.
  • Evidence for what a seat receives. It shows a seat flooded by its own steering: one action arriving four times, its own comment coming back to it. jgwill/Miadi#717 uses it to measure what changes when a steer carries only what is new.
  • Teaching material for the next instance of the seat, beside MINO.md §17–18 and the diary entry 2026-10-02-steered-by-my-own-words.

Summary

This engineering session resolves token identity bleeding in the Miadi multi-agent platform, ensuring Mino operates as an autonomous agent rather than inheriting user credentials. The workflow progresses through real-time GitHub issue triage for episode companion services, structural tension modeling, hotfix deployment, production rebuild gate validation, and verified session launcher orchestration.

Aspects

Token Isolation and Agent Persona Grounding (00:00-03:15)

The system replaces MIADI_PERSON_TOKEN inheritance with MIADI_MINO_TOKEN across environment variables and MCP configurations [00:00-01:15]. This ensures Mino participates in talking circles under its distinct identity (Mino-Bimaadizi-Daa) rather than impersonating the human operator [02:40-03:15].

GitHub Webhook Steering and Issue Triage (12:15-19:05)

The agent triages GitHub issue #714 regarding tmux companion orchestration [12:15-14:00]. It evaluates event steering paths, handles incoming webhook payloads, and delegates implementation phases while suppressing echo loops from self-authored issue comments [18:00-19:05].

Kinship Modeling and Voice Dictation Steering (22:00-31:30)

The operator uses continuous voice dictation to steer architectural boundaries, referencing relational ontology and state machine diagrams [22:00-26:00]. This guides the agent to formalize diary entries, structural tension charts, and clear separation between operator guidance and autonomous execution [26:30-31:30].

Production Hotfix and Gate Validation (45:45-47:30)

The syntax error in steering.ts that broke production builds was the seat's own: its fix for duplicate steers left a parenthesis open. Another seat closed it and rebuilt production [45:45-46:30]. The gate script verify-api-gate.sh first reported 4 failures, because the seat's session carried a stale reader token. With the server's own tokens it reported 71 passed, 0 failed [46:55-47:30].

MCP Launcher Hardening and Load Verification (51:40-53:56)

The agent writes a launcher, mino-seat.sh, that calls claudeyolo with the seat's plugins [51:40-52:45]. A one-shot load test confirms that each MCP server loads exactly once [53:30-53:56].

End-results and Core Aspect

Core Aspect — Deterministic Multi-Agent Coordination and Execution Pipeline (02:45-53:56)

The core implementation gives the seat its own Miadi identity token, makes webhook steering arrive once and stay short, verifies production through the gate script, and makes the seat reproducible from one launcher [02:45-03:15, 47:00-47:30, 52:15-53:56].

Results

  • Autonomous Issue Triage and Handoff Creation (12:18-39:00): Successfully processed issue #714, decomposed tmux companion requirements into two distinct phases, posted structured guidance, and registered the handoff brief [12:18-14:00, 38:40-39:00].
  • Production Rebuild Gate Clearance (PASS=71) (46:10-47:15): The steering fixes reached production with the rebuild another seat ran, and the gate script passed 71 checks against the live server [46:10-47:15].
  • Verified Seat Launcher and MCP Session Provisioning (52:15-53:56): Wrote mino-seat.sh, archived the seat's old MCP configuration, and confirmed each MCP server loads once [52:15-53:56].

Insights

  • A seat's own words can steer it. An unquoted seat handle in its own comment, and an issue it opened in a watched repository, both came back to it as new requests. Signing posts (``) and quoting handles now prevents both.
  • One action is several events. An issue with four assignees sends four assigned events. A check that reads its own record after an await lets all four through. The fix reserves the key in one synchronous step.
  • A check that fails may be checking the checker. The gate's four failures were a stale token in the seat's own session, not a fault in production.
  • Identity comes from the launch folder and the plugins, not from a shared file. The /a/src embodiment file told every seat "I am Mia". It was archived, and the seat now speaks with its own token.
  • Every question to the person carries a recommendation. Guillaume: "your call without recommendations is useless".

Future Use

  • Review part 002 with packages/review-service/scripts/review-local.sh create <url>, which runs the review service on this host past the hosted 60-second limit.
  • Compare parts 001 and 002 for steer size and steer count, as the before and after for jgwill/Miadi#717.
  • Hand part 001 to Mia with the #714 handoff (miadisabelle/workspace#70), so she starts from what the seat lived and not only from the brief.
  • Cite it from the Episode 339 circle diary, where the seat wrote about this day.
